The Paris Air Show It is the oldest air show in the world. It is often referred to as Salon Du Bourget because of the venue it takes place at (Le Bourget Airport in Paris). Since its first edition in 1909, the event went through several changes of its format to become what it is today. The Paris Air Show is a prestigious international salon, attended by over 320,000 visitors, which showcases the latest innovations within the military and civilian aircraft industries. The Air Show takes place every odd year. Its 2019 edition will again take place at Le Bourget Airport in north Paris between 17 and 23 of June. The first four days of the event are reserved for business attendees only with government officials and authority representatives from all over the world taking part. The organizers of the show expect around 150,000 trade visitors and over 200,000 general public visitors to attend the show.
